Wood Cornices for Kitchen

My mom recently updated all of her window coverings, but didn't want to use valances that get dusty. She came accross wood cornices, since they are apparently back in style. She built them for all of her sliding doors and windows and they looked so good, I wanted them too! We used our favorite ghostwood for this (which also matches the kitchen window shelf I did recently) and for the larger cornice, we used two ghostwood planks and just trimmed off the lip on the top board. I am so happy with how great these look over the kitchen window and patio door!
