Rustic Riser

I had a cheap riser in the bathroom that was a fake wood grain and from the Target dollar section! I wanted a cute rustic riser to go with the mirror border we added. I treated some of the old fence boards from the fence we replaced. I used Borax to kill any bugs, then I took a stiff wire brush and went over the boards with vinegar to get out any soft wood and also clean the boards. This gave them a really rustic look. I primed and stained them, and it could not have been much easier! I love how it turned out.
