Kitchen Island
March 31, 2022A while back, we tore off the tile from our kitchen island. We didn't have anything to put on it yet, so I gave the plywood a faux marble finish...lol. We were pricing quartz and other options, and found this great acacia butcher block at Home Depot. we installed it, but it was the same width of the island so there was no overhang. My mom helped me add trim and finish it to match. We also used table-leaf hinges to add an acacia extension. Click any image for larger view.
