BBQ Tri-Tip Roast

Dave barbecued a tri-tip roast on Memorial Day. He also did peppers and potatos on the grill, and it all turned out great.

The Tri-Tip roast was about 3 lbs. and seasoned with McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning.

Dave used Mesquite wood and barbecued the roast at about 220°.

Dave inserted a barbecue thermometer and let the roast get to about 170°. It was on the grill about 3 hours.

The finished roast was delicious! It was perfect on the outside and nice and juicy inside.
