Tie-Dye Tough Mudder Shirts
August 13, 2014
I always make shirts for the boys and I to wear to Dave's races. My best friend and I made shirts for Tough Mudder last year and we had a few mishaps. This year, we decided to be daring and not only do transfers, but tie-dye.
My friend did step one: tie-dying the top portion of the shirts. After the shirts were washed and dried, I used brown Tulip tie-dye on the bottom part of the shirts to give the impression of mud (Since this is a mud race). After that was washed and dried, I did the transfers. I always use iron-on transfer paper that works great. You print the design on a deskjet, then iron it on.
We all looked great in our matching shirts!
