Egret

June 2007

We watched an Egret sit on the pond fence watching our fish for over 20 minutes. He seemed to be scared to jump down to the pond. We're not sure if it was the decoy Heron or just because there are not many ledges to stand on in the deep end of the pond. Heidi finally got tired of waiting and scared him off.
